Madelief’s favorites: full color and Kerasilk Color Sealer

Madelief first came into contact with KURO through Bianca and her former modelling agency, IKON Model Management. Her first appointment at the salon was in June 2022, when Bianca did a hair change for her. Since then, KURO has become a familiar place.

Madelief is now cut by Mingus and colored by Indy. In her own words: “dreamteam.” Her favorite treatment is the full color. She has had red hair for a few years now, but the color still feels completely right.

“I just love how this color never seems to bore me. I keep getting compliments on it and the color suits me perfectly. I am also a big fan of the head massages during this treatment.”

To keep her bright red color looking beautiful for as long as possible, Madelief swears by the Kerasilk Color Sealer. “My color simply lasts a lot longer because of it. Especially with such a bright red color and the sunnier days coming up, this is a must-have.”

Marthe’s favorites: Bianca, volume and the Intense Care Ritual Treatment

Marthe has been coming to KURO for years. Her first appointment was around 2018 or 2019. Recently, she also joined behind the scenes to help strengthen the salon’s social media.

Marthe is always cut by Bianca and has had many different hair colors and styles over the years. The Intense Care Ritual Treatment is still on her list.

When it comes to products, Marthe is clear. Anything that gives volume has her heart. That is why Oribe Maximista fits her hair routine perfectly. It gives the hair more body and movement, without making it feel heavy.

Hetty’s favorites: weekly care and a moment for herself

Hetty found her way to KURO and has not regretted it for a second. Her first appointment was three years ago, but it felt right straight away. “You can just tell that real professionals work here. They truly listen to what you want.”

Hetty is treated by almost everyone at KURO, but most often by Nancy and Indy. For her, that combination works really well. “They understand exactly what suits me and I always leave thinking: yes, this is right.”

Her favorite treatment is her weekly complete wash and blow-dry treatment with care. Not only because her hair looks good afterwards, but also because it has become a fixed moment for herself. “Just relaxing, a good atmosphere, personal attention. That really makes the difference.”

Her favorite product is Oribe Supershine Light. It gives her hair care and shine without weighing it down, so her hair feels healthier, falls better and stays in shape for longer.

For Hetty, KURO is not just a salon appointment. It is a place where quality and personal attention come together, and where you can see that in the result.

Wisam’s favorites: Youngsters Haircut and Kerasilk Curl Balm

Wisam came to KURO through a close friend. He had been looking for a hairstylist for a long time, because he had never really found someone who knew what could be done with his hair.

His friend Giel had been cut by Bianca for a shoot and told Wisam that he had never had such a good hairdresser before. When Wisam saw the result, he was convinced. His first appointment was with Bianca.

“Bianca saw the vision immediately, cut it perfectly and even the way it grew out afterwards was perfect. I was amazed, because I had secretly started to lose hope that I would ever find a regular hairdresser.”

When Bianca was not available recently because of Fashion Week, she recommended Mingus. That turned out to be a great match too. “He was just as talented and immediately knew which direction he could take with my hair. I have never received as many compliments as I have since switching to KURO.”

His favorite treatment is the Youngsters Haircut. For Wisam, it is the perfect combination: a good haircut and saving a little money at the same time.

During his last appointment, Mingus recommended the Kerasilk Curl Balm. Many leave-in conditioners make his hair feel heavy or take away definition, but this balm is light and hydrating.

“The Curl Balm is very light and hydrates my hair perfectly, which makes it especially easy to style after washing. I bought a tube immediately and use it every week.”

For Sam, the story starts with Bianca. She has been coming to Bianca for around fifteen to twenty years for both cuts and color and has always moved with her from salon to salon. That says a lot about trust. When someone knows your hair that well, you do not easily let that go.

Sam’s favorite treatment is the Curly Girl Treatment & Cut. What she loves most is that the treatment is not only about styling, but also about care.

“I love the Curly Girl Treatment & Cut because it has such a caring side to it. You feel really pampered.”
