KURO was conceived and founded by Bianca van Zwieten, who continues to shape the salon’s creative direction and signature approach to modern haircare. Nancy Richard is co owner of the Rotterdam salon and plays a central role on the floor, working closely with the team to ensure every appointment meets the KURO standard, from technique and advice to the overall experience. The salon is the heart of KURO as a broader platform. From this space, training sessions and workshops take place through the KURO Academy, and the salon also serves as a base for shoots and fashion projects where hair is treated as visual language.
Founder Bianca van Zwieten works internationally as a session stylist and brings her experience from fashion and editorial work directly into the salon. This cross-pollination is felt in the way KURO approaches hair, advice and creativity.
